At Faith Christian School, we are committed to the belief that all truth is God's truth (Col. 1:17). Every curricular area is founded on the absolutes of God's Word. As Christian educators, we are committed to striving for spiritual uprightness and academic excellence. We will endeavor to develop steadfast, faith-filled, salt-of-the-earth young men and women who will be equipped to met the challenges before them and assume leadership roles.

Academics
We acknowledge the pre-eminence of Christ in all things. As Christian teachers, we seek the controlling and guiding power of the Holy Spirit in relating truths from a Christian worldview in such a way that the student will in turn apply his learning within the context of his society. It is from this perspective that we currently offer the

Athletics
Because God is sovereign over all His creation, His lordship must also extend to athletics. Our athletic teams are expected to recognize the importance of the example they are setting before other students and the public.

Faith Christian competes on the court and on the field against many other private schools in the area, many of them Christian schools like FCS, and many of them accredited by the Mississippi Private School Association.

We are offering the following sports for the 2008-09 school year:

Our intention is to offer additional sports opportunities in the future, including football, girls volleyball, and perhaps track or cross country.

Activities
Students at Faith Christian will have several opportunities to participate in academic activities such as an annual Science Fair, spelling bee, and Quiz Bowl -- as well as many community-related activities. For example, for several years running, FCS students have volunteered to work with Operation Christmas Child (in Atlanta) and with Northeast Mississippi "Special Olympics."

In addition, Faith Christian School also has an in-house drama team -- the "Faith Christian Theater Company" -- which stages at least one theatrical production every year; and a "Spirit Squad" that encourages student support for the school at athletic events.
